Central Park Start is located at the Harlem Meer in Central Park. Enter at 110th St & Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd. Prospect Park Start is located at Willink Drive, near the Carousel.
By Bicycle
Traffic is light, and an early morning ride through Central Park is a treat. If you arrive via the Central Park loop, please ride all the way down the hill to the Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Boulevard exit and then enter the registration lane. There will be signs to direct you. For cycling maps, visit www.transalt.org/map. All routes begin from the same starting point--inside Central Park at 110th Street and Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Boulevard.

By Subway
Thanks to T.A.'s advocacy, bicycles are allowed on the subway, no permit required, 24 hours a day (see our Bikes on Transit section for more details). Please check out mta.info for service advisories before you board.
Central Park: Take any of the following trains to get to the Central Park Start
- A, C, D, 1 train to/or near 59th Street-Columbus Circle and ride through Central Park to the Central Park Start.
- 2 or 3 train to 110th Street/Central Park North and ride 1 block west
- 6 train to 110th Street and Lexington and ride 5 blocks west.
Prospect Park: Take any of the following trains to the designated station:
- F train to 7th Ave. station, 15th St./Prospect Park station and Fort Hamilton Parkway station, ride through the park and exit at Willink Drive.
- 2 or 3 train at Grand Army Plaza station, ride through the park and exit at Willink Drive
- Q train to Parkside Ave. station and Prospect Park station, ride through the park and exit at Willink Drive
- Q, S, B train to Prospect Park station, walk north on Flatbush and enter park at Willink Drive.

By Car
If you must drive, consider driving to your closest subway or train station and riding into the city. If you have to bring your car into the city, please car pool and allow extra time to park and assemble your bike. On-street parking is allowed but scarce.
